The PIE Program

The PIE Program is a vocational training program designed to get you from an entry level skill set to having expertise in the vocation of your choice. The program is designed to take four years to complete. However, you can complete it in three. Throughout the program, you will learn a vocation, increase literacy skills, and learn professional workplace conduct. At the end of the program, you will receive a certificate and be eligible for GUARANTEED community employment. No waiting. No hoping. It’s guaranteed.

Although the PIE Program is designed to get you working in the community, we understand that some of you will want to stay with us here at Open Arms Health Systems. If you choose this path, you will still be eligible for raises, promotions, and other incentives along the way.

Program Stages

Within the PIE Program, you will work through three title levels of training: apprentice, journeyman, and master. After you have completed the necessary requirements within each criteria, you will move up a level and receive the correlating badge. Once you have received all eight (8) badge colors, you can move up to the next title even. Upon receiving all eight (8) badges and training through each title level, we will assist in placing you in GUARANTEED independent employment within that vocation.
